Now is a great time to be a first time buyer ! Here are my top three tips for first time buyers
1. Get Pre-Approved!
By getting pre-approved through a mortgage broker, you'll know your exact budget for your first home, and when you find it, be able to make the strongest offer possible because of your pre-approval.
2. Find a Realtor
This seems like an obvious next step, but finding the right realtor is very important in your journey to home ownership. You'll want to find one who has experience in the type of home you want to purchase (condo's, new areas, etc), but also one you "click" with! A Realtor who understands your needs and wants, and has the time to show you homes on YOUR schedule.
3. Take Your Time
Although you may want to jump on the first home you see that "checks all the boxes", there's nothing wrong seeing a few more to make sure you're making the right decision. I firmly believe that I'm helping you find a home, not "selling you one".
